Seth Smades is a Los Angeles–based producer, composer, and sound design expert signed to Rough Trade Records. Having collaborated with some of the entertainment industry’s most influential companies— including Sony, NBCUniversal, Disney, and Republic Records— he’s been featured by Rolling Stone, aired on BBC Radio, and covered by The Independent, among others. A multi-instrumentalist, Smades is also the songwriter and guitarist for indie-rock band The Sophs, who are slated to perform at Primavera Sound Barcelona, Bandland Bengaluru, and Roskilde Festival in Denmark as part of their 2026 international festival run.
